I would have bought the LHD but I have the SD43 and while a comparison is a stretch they both are somewhat similar. The titinum case, bracelet, clasp, dial and bezel are great. Don't forget the lume.
love the Pelagos blue,,,,

How durable are they in daily wear?

I have a 2-liner black (pre-owned), but it's in such clean shape I don't want to bang it up :D

Really like the lumed bezel, titanium case, and 42mm is a good size. I always check the blue out when I see one in the case. This would be a great watch for just about any activity. I seem to stop short of picking one up as it is just a little thick.

I loved the look but the sharp bracelet edges made me sell it.

I have noticed this as well. Also the micro adjustments seem easy to move while wearing and the diver extension isn't terribly tight when snapped in place.

The Pelagos is a top-notch. It's finely crafted, comfortable, durable, and eminently legible day and night. Although it can be dressed up, for me it's industrial look keeps it from getting more wrist time, but I love wearing it on vacation, for yard work, the beach, etc.
