DJ41 still tempted

Since last Basel i have been contemplating the idea to add a DJ41 silver dial on jubilé bracelet. Believe it would compliment nicely my SD40. One sport one slightly more dressed up. My Ulysse Nardin and Van Der Bovede are abandonned in the safe. The DJ with great new mechanism is also not that blinky and be ok in all the interesting coutries i m visiting. One month ago i saw and tried one in changi airport, was tempted but resisted. I am now in Singapore for 2 weeks for surgery and recovery. This pm passed by an AD with my wife and tried it on again. Now here is the feedback of my wife... it is too simple and not big enough for your wrist. Ouch... purchase still not done.

The mrs has a point... somehow you do manage to dwarf that giant!

Reminds me of the time a friend from London flew into SG whilst I was there & asked to meet at a busy MRT underground, uhoh Asian with black hair at peak hour too. Thankfully wasn't hard to spot as she towers a head taller than the average packed crowd - real useful to be above average height :)

Maybe look at the new Sky Dweller in steel? You've definitely got the wrist for it.

Well, I guess it's nice your wife thinks you're a big boy.

It doesn't look bad; how does your other watches look in your wrist?

how big is your wrist man? That does look small on you. LOL

I'd go for the SkyD for sure if I had your wrist size

I've got two DJ41s , The Blue and the Rhodium and I still kick myself for not getting the silver dial,in my opinion the silver is the nicest

Personally I think it fits properly. The case itself appears to fit proportionately on your wrist - a 36mm datejust would like ridiculous but the 41mm looks right.

Perhaps an Oyster bracelet would do the trick. The larger endlinks make the watch look larger.

Try the Datejust II. It is slightly bigger and is almost identical. Not to mention you get one for a great price now.

Looks fine. Not too simple either--fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, date/cyclops. Plenty of action.

Id suggest a dj 2 with blue dial and diamond indicies. Perhaps that will change her mind.
