understand the frustration completely. It's like buying a new car...most people would be amazed of what is missed/fixed/covered up when taking delivery of a new car. They get damaged in delivery, scratched while on the lot etc..sometimes dealers will respray entire sections on BRAND new cars and you see the over spray. ETA: Wasn't trying to imply the dealer was being nefarious, just stating that QC issues happen all the time, I can see how my post was stating that maybe the TS was trying to hide something.
TS should provide label as goodwill and in my opinion this should be handled under warranty. |

I don't believe the TS was acting nefarious in any way, just an unfortunate situation. It happens. He's making it right as we speak.

I'm curious to know just how the Trusted Seller handles this issue. I know what my AD would do. It would be fixed asap without cost to me.
OP, please keep us updated as this develops.

I agree, hopefully my post wasn't miss understood and now I can see how it probably was. I was just pointing out the things can be missed by QC.

No loupe mania here. But thanks for addressing my concern about potential damaging the watch.
But you would certainly agree that resale from my end would be affected no (vs a another example with no speck)? So yes there are other ways for this to affect my interest or harm my ownership of this piece. |

I meant if he didn't want to do anything until service was needed...
It's not scheming and it seems more of a personal attack than a gesture. I was trying to be nice since you jump on me every chance you get So, you are telling me if the seller never responded you would have not got involved?? . . . . .

This is as good a time as any to revisit the rules of the classified section.

Update; TS sent some preshipped oics of the watch. No spec. So only conclusion is this may have been dislodged from some part of the lettering dial itself or there was something floating around in there. Weird. But such is life right!

My Aug 2017 warranty booklet says the warranty only applies if the watch was purchased from an AD.
If you bought it new from a non-AD, does it have a warranty at all? An AD or RSC could well say, under Rolex's protective rules against grey market offerings, that the warranty does not apply and you'll have to pay to get it fixed? |

Correct, I contacted Dallas RSC, I'll be sending there as soon as my schedule eases up. TS has been more than helpful.
