So he claimed, the watch was shipped from HK, and the name on the label was to a female. Typical scam artist.

it wasn't as advertised, they use stock pictures, not actual pictures of the watches, the dial was a bit different and the band was very loose,

FYI-when i did the return and i asked for mike, they said he no longer worked there, i dealt with the owner who was a woman named Elizabeth, and they had me fedex the watch to an address in boston
The name on my package was from Elizabeth. I forget her last name but when I did a Google search of the name, there was a weird article about her.

I don't think Mike was ever a real person. No one every answered the phone number he provided and it was a google voice number.

re:

i spoke to him before, he seemed like a young guy,

the watch was actually very nice and came back as authentic from Tourneau
but, like you said 30% of the watch is the band, so i asked for a full refund and they gave me one. I would never buy anything on the internet without a full refund policy, even things you buy from Amazon these days are different then the pictures, it's a shame

I too bought a Rolex from Mike Cherry . Bought a year and a half ago , yes - off of ebay . He said he had it serviced and was good to go for several more years . Well it died . Tried contacting him . All numbers disconnected . E-mail not good.
I understand he's in West L.A. ?
great . I'm close . Anyone with info on him let me know . I'll track the slime ball down
