See that’s the problem, so many of you try to make AW something it is not. It is not a Uber luxury product, it doesn’t have bevelling or tourbillon and never will. But at the same time it can do a lot of things that traditional watch cannot, and can only get better from there, where as mechanical watches are what they are.

Yes today’s AW functions are limited but to completely write it off is too shortsighted. One day it may just have a function that you never thought you need.

I think it's the failed attempt at the gold version that's frying everyone's brain. There was intent to push it to a luxury watch, as misguided as it was.
