Rolex Milgauss price!

Guys I've been offered a 2014 Rolex milgauss box and papers (country code 140 which I'm not sure what that is??!!) for 4K. Not sure what retail is on these but does that seem about right? Seen a few on eBay for 4.5k upwards.
Thanks

That's a pretty low price. What sort of condition is it in??

Retail for a new piece is ~ $7500-8,000 USD.

David SW has a couple GVs between $6-6.9K

<EDIT> Sorry, you may have been quoting pounds. So ~$5,280. Still, on the low side. Condition???

That sounds like a little too good of a deal perhaps.

I purchased a 2016 z-blue for US 5800 (box and papers, local AD) which was about 400-500 below eBay and Chrono24. Which variant is the one you’re looking at? The non-GV models tend to go for less.

If it is a GV model than I would say it is too good to be true. If it isnt, still sounds like a good deal but as always, buy the seller!

£4000 lol.

I think it's too good to be true. If it's stolen and you send it in to RSC for service,You'll never see it again

Guys, apologies for the lack of information.
It's my friends watch and he needs the cash for a divorce.So it's 4k GBP
The green card says the following:
Client [/B]= 410 (sorry i said 140!, i beleive this is Japn which ties up with the writing on the flip side,bought 28th July 2014)
Reference = 116400GV
Model = OYSTER PERPETUAL
Name of the purchaser is blanked out it seems.

Does it seem a good buy at that price, box and everyting and no significant marks etc..

That is a great price! If everything checks out okay, it is in great condition, and if you like it I would make the purchase.

It's a watch i've always seen on other peopels wrist and really liked it, looks unusual and bit different.
The GV is the only model i'll like to own as well.
Ive a 1973 RED Sub that i wear as well so this looked like a completely different watch!

Considering the circumstances where it sounds like you can verify everything and know the source well, sounds like a good deal. Do you guys know the origin, was it originally purchased by your friend direct from an AD? If so nothing to worry about

My friend purchased it through a guy on eBay who travelled extensively. Are there issues in buying watches from Japan?

So in this case get the seller in a headlock and ask him five times - yeah but is it kosher? I know where you live!

Bought lots of watches through eBay and never had an issue. PayPal gives protection if fake anyway. Had money credited in 3 days when one turned out to be fake!
