I’m a little late here, I know. But I’ll throw in my support for the 16570 polar exp ii. Just got my M series and could not be happier! 40mm, slim, perfect/comfortable fit for my 6.75” wrist. The new 42 is just too chunky.

Between the 2 - go GMT. The EX2 is not a bad watch by any means but I found the hand size to be disproportionate and the crown to be a little on the small side. Had it for about 2 months and sold it. Good luck with your choice.
