Explorer 214270 bracelet on BLNR?
I tried doing a search but couldn't find any results: does anyone know if the Explorer 214270 bracelet fits on the GMT ii BLNR?
They're both 20mm and look the same. It would be awesome to be able to store the PCL bracelet away, put on the brushed Explorer bracelet, and just put a strap on the Explorer :) Thanks! |

I saw that thread, but that seems to be a Submariner bracelet, which we know would fit.
If no one else has tried this, I might give it a go and report back... but really want to avoid it as I don't want to risk scratching either watch with unnecessary bracelet changes. The tight Rolex tolerances will probably make it a pain too! |

I have tried doing this on multiple attempts, and it doesn’t fit. The distance between lug hole and case is to small for the Explorer endlinks. Even when using thinner springbars.

Bracelet from the Exp II 16750 does fit the BLNR. I removed the PCL bracelet day 1 and prefer the brushed look. Might not be the answer you are looking for could be an alternative.

I’ve put my glide lock on my BLNR before so I know that works first hand... I’ve seen pictures of the super jubilee on the BLNR, Daytona, and Explorer... Since the super jubilee fits all three, I would assume that it would be possible to swap the oysters between the three as well, albeit with different spring bars.

Take this with a grain of salt. Working backwards from Rubber B straps sizing options, the commonality between models is as follows.
Bracelet common fitting: * GMTII-C, Daytona, Sub 14060ND, SD4000, Milgaus * Explorer I, Sub-C, Sub date, YM, SD (nonC), Explorer II (40mm), GMT Master I & II (nonC) * Explorer II (42), DJII |

As mentioned these fittings are based on Rubber B strap model codes only. If you successfully put a SubC on a GMTII-C, then you are correct. Might start a new more generic thread of this bracelet goes with that head. To document actual real world experience. |
