Rolex GMT 16710 Service Cost

Just curious to those who own the GMT 16710, what are the service costs for the GMT? I was looking at a few vintage ones, but just wanted to make sure if I bought one that was in need of service what it would cost.

I had a full service on my coke including rotor bearing or something like that and it was $550 or so.

Ah I'm guessing you went to a 3rd party spot vs the RSC? I always thought the GMT was more $$ to maintain.

I am guessing that RSC service, winding tube, etc, and sales tax will be around $1,000.

Just got my 16710 back last Friday from RSC in Dallas. $872 was the total, and that was with new crown and shipping.

Rikki or Vanessa can service with Rolex parts for mid hundreds...500-600.

Yes, respected third party here in Los Angeles. Watch runs in spec and looks wonderful. I was concerned RSC here would want to “fix” cosemtic things.

I just dropped my GMT off at the RSC in New York city, They quoted me close to 800 as well, with the crown replacement. Do you know what they all did to your watch for that price? did they do a good job with it? Did it basically come back like new? Also, how long did it take before you got it back? Sorry for all the questions......

My BLRO 16710 was at RSC Dallas for about 6 weeks. Basic service was $700 but I had some parts replaced. The dial was $500 alone, while new hands, cyclops, and bezel insert were $300 all together.

Just know that an RSC looks for faults with a jeweler’s loupe so they will find “flaws” you’ll never see with the naked eye.

Brand spankin’ new when it came back, which was exactly what I wanted.
