If I could only have two watches, I'd prefer the Daytona and DJ41. If I had the opportunity to add another into the mix, I'd prefer to have 1 PM and 1 SS, if that makes sense.

Good point Larry that DD looks spectacular! Makes me miss mine...

But 2 SS will be cheaper than a DD?

disclaimer I own a subc date
neither. I would buy a WG daytona on OF + a SS sports model.

Then you get one of each and its basically the same as a DD price.

Instead of 2 SS sports OR 1 PM. You could get 1 PM and 1 SS

At least not in a sports watch. If you were talking about a Lange that came in PM only, then something else entirely.

From what I've seen, the WG Daytona/OF is going to run you every bit as much as a DD40...maybe a little more based on age/condition, etc.

Not sure these numbers would add up, unless I'm missing something.

some of us shop at AD's where the retail price of a WG daytona on OF is around £6.5k less than a WG DD. A SS sports model retails around the £6k mark. Im sure the proportions are accurate in USD.

Discounts and grey dealer rates vary by location so im just talking sticker prices.

PM for me because we speak about Rolex and Rolex PM watches are very robust even in PM
If we speak about another brand like AP, PP then SS

With the sub intact, it's easy. Gold.

The ultimate goal should be 2 watches: A YG DD40 paired with a WG BLRO.
