i like to see the show MYTHBUSTERS do a segment to find out if a SUB is bulletproof

They do spend a lot of money and resources on proving if some stuff is true.

So why not?
I have submitted an email in the past to the show.

But wouldn't some people here like to see how tough it is ?

Or how would a dance with a .357 bullet ?

Why would it be bullet proof?

bulletproof? Not literally. It's a figure of speech.

I can pretty much guarantee you that a .357 Mag would punch a nice hole all the way through a Rolex. There's no need to waste $6000.

It would be a dance with death. A .357 would destroy any Rolex. A .22 would for that matter if fired at the dial.

They would probably know the answer before they do it...

I made a deep dent on a quarter shooting from 30feet away using a BB gun. I'm sure it will go through the crystal with ease

Is there any myth or urban legend regarding Rolexes, for there to be a reason for them to be on the show?

I don't recall Rolex ever advertising that the Sub is bulletproof. To be honest, I've never come across anything of the kind - urban myth or otherwise. The Sub is acknowledged to be a tough watch, yes, but bullet-proof? Too far-fetched for me.

Why would you want to know if your Rollie was BULLETPROOF?
