Chances to see a GMT coke at Basel
The GMT coke was my first Rolex in 1992 and sadly sold it a year later. I would love to own again a new GMT coke SS on non polished oyster bracelet.
I know its been lot of speculation around it since last year but any serious thought to see again the GMT coke at Basel on march 23td? What are the chances to make it happen? Maybe some Basel insiders will read my thread.. who knows ;) |

I think we have a better chance of seeing a TT Rootbeer GMT
Rolex going off the board. A coke GMT is to obvious. Rolex needs to figure out there issues before releasing another model that people will go bat shi* crazy for. Rolex needs to settle down. Relax. Have a dart & regroup. Coke GMT? Basel 2019 book it |

Thought about that option but waiting for Basel first. Also i just got a SS Sub LN on december. Big dilemma for me. I need one sport watch only but GMT is kinda haunting me... |

Who knows what Basel brings but it is less than a month away so we will know soon enough. I know one thing is if they do come out with one I am all over it.

This has to be the most hoped for Rolex release ever. I know I'd buy at least one if it comes out in steel. But the wait lists would be insane unless they started cranking them out well before release.

Makes a difference come Basel. Hedge your bets give a deposit right now to AD and guarantee a purchase of any new SS release. Thats how 'serious' rolls. |

Wonder how many BLRO owners will opt for a SS Coke if it is available.

My wish is GMT coke SS on oyster bracelet. If released with polished oyster, i will have to brush it. I'm seriously thinking of selling my sub LN (december 2017) for a GMT coke...it went that far in my mind. That's a tough call for me...

The demand is there. Why Rolex wouldn't take advantage of that? I'm pretty sure Rolex is aware of this hype. They will release a new version. The question now is which GMT coke they will release? platinum polish or SS? and which oyster bracelet?

SS blnr is doing just fine last i checked. Why release a ss coke? Coke SS is a pipe dream. Not happening. No chance. Rolex is playing it low key this year. Only 'rumour' I believe and I hate to say it is that Rolex will release a WG no date sub @ baselworld 18. Says here. No Coke. WG Sub no date w 3235 in slimmed down case & red lettering for submariner is on the horizon. I believe the rumour and the OP that started the rumour. It makes sense. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTxY9eeG7Kw |

The BLNR and LN fly out of dealer cases and are difficult to obtain. Hard to believe Rolex would introduce another GMT variant in stainless.

I really want a ss Pepsi (or coke) but with the crazy prices now decided to wait for Basel as if they release one, the current 16710 price should go down (I think)

I say it’s a 50% chance. Either they do or they don’t

Alright.
I never started the rumor. First time i post a thread about the GMT coke. Was just wishing this GMT for myself and was wondering wether or not Rolex will make this happen this year. Just wanted to read opinions from experts like you about this topic. Now i know there's 0 chance they will release it. |
