Suveran part deux!

Today picked up this omega suveran from a nice swedish watch collector friend. Have pestered him for a while to sell it and eventually he did agree .
The Omega Suveran where made uniquely for the swedish market during WW2 by omega.. apparantly another swedish collector friend tells me that a small percentage of the sale price of these omegas went to the military. These don not often appear on ebay, and when they do are horrible redials or frankenstein watches. This one has never been polished and is all original. very lucky to find one in such a good condition. here are the piccies:

Really nice, mamas. The face looks good, but the insides look almost pristine. Great catch. Congrats.

thanks guys.. really lucked out with this one for sure..was slightly expensive (by my usual standards) $560 but it is worth it considering rarity and condition.

Thats very nice Mamas and now very collectible, looks like a early pre 1940 model if my memory serves me well.Thats the more desirable dial to,sometimes called the officers, or trio tone deco, is it the Cal 30.T2 PC. movement. Its funny I looked at one over the weekend, but the asking price was £450 and he would not come down a bit.IMO you had a very good deal Mamas,a great price for a now collectible sort after watch well done, and looks 100% original. Are the Omega Suveran markings on case back.Or has yours just Omega Swiss and anti magnetic and the rest in Swiss around case back, like markings on SD.

thanks for the comments
Padi.. the guy who sold it to me is a friend, so it was at a good price.. and i did have to pester him for a while to get this one. He said that this was a piece he would only sell to a friend and not put it on ebay.. we have an understanduing with these guys that if we want to sell any extra nice pieces we offer it to each other before flipping it on ebay. I didnt realise they went for £450 though.. that makes me extra pleased. This one has the suveran markings engraved on caseback like my other all black suveran. Unfortunately it does have initials of previous owner on back, but they look nice and add to the history imho. You are right about it containing the 30t2.PC calibre and that it was aka 'The officer'.. overall really chuffed with this one.
all the best

Would not have thought the engraving would take anything of the value. Now if those initials could be linked, or the watch to the military, value would increase
