Anyone else have a strict two-watch rotation?
I've realized that I have fallen into a strict two-watch rotation schedule:
MWF: DJ 41 TTh: SubC Weekend Casual: SubC Weekend Date: DJ 41 I like this rotation because neither watch ever dies and I can play around with how I lay them down at night to keep accurate time. Anyone else have a similarly strict rotation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don’t. But wish I could.
That would be great.

No, while some watches are more suitable for certain events/occasions I normally just strap on whatever I feel like wearing today.

Maybe two in one day but I prefer more options for anything longer than that.

Nothing strict...Watch selection / rotation usually gets set the night before work - subject to change. I usually pop on the 16610 when I get home.
Weekends get a mix of Seiko divers / Gshocks during the day. |

I used to strap on whatever felt right in the morning as I was getting dressed. I found, however, that this approach didn’t give me enough time to bond with and/or appreciate what was on my wrist. So now I decide on Sunday what to wear for the week. I’ve found that allows me to enjoy each timepiece a lot more. We’ll see how long it lasts before I try something different.

Great combo right there, OP!
After playing around for a couple years of different watches I've slimmed down to an IWC, 16610, and OP39. But, I basically only wear my 16610, makes my decision easier

definitely not. I go through 5-6 watches, with a watch change about every 3-5 days (lately)

I've got 10 watches in my box at this time but for the past few months I mostly alternate my two newest, BLNR and Speedmaster Pro.

I have 13 watches 3 of which are rolexes and for work I have my Tags, Squales or Seikos. On my days off and when I come home the Rolex goes on.

I really like that combo. Even when I had two watches, they were both essentially the same "genre", so I pretty much wore whatever I felt like that day. I'm down to just my Explorer now, but I'm looking forward to getting back to the two watch rotation at some point.

I wear whatever pops into my head that day. Or perhaps what matches best. I rarely wear the same one for more than a few days without throwing on another.

Glad you asked that. I was a one watch guy for 4 years and I want to try that again.
Planning to only wear my BLNR for 4 months. Lock the rest of my watches to my bank safety and forget them. Will see if I can do it :-) |

My rotation is four watches. I wear each one for a full month and then change. I like how at the end of the month I am really looking forward to do the swap for "the new one".

I think 3 is the magic number. It’s kind of a 2 watch rotation, but you need a third wild card to throw in the mix too.
For example: -True Sport -Blend of the 2 -True Dress This is what I’ve discovered is perfect for me. |

This is kind of my overall rotation as I own a 1980s DJ on a black leather strap. I generally wear this one for formal events.

If you alternate 2 watches throughout the week, it’s nice to have a third option to throw in at least a few times a month. I’ve found I get a little bored with only 2. |

I have no fixed pattern of rotation. Depending on mood. And occasion. New watches gets about 1 to 2 weeks of honeymoon period and after that, they goes into rotation.
That said, I am wearing my Seikos a lot.
