It's here! It's here!

Woohoo! Got my watch winder delivered to my office yesterday. I was out with friends last night, so this evening was my first opportunity to take a couple of photos:

Despite my cynicism about eBay sales, this has got to be one of my all-time great deals, paying 2.3% of the RRP. The winder is exactly as described in the ad, brand new from Niche Marketing in Canada (they advertise as ctideals on eBay if anyone's interested in bidding for one).

Yep. Congrats - you will love it, as I do mine. Exactly as advertised!

Well done, James. Niche Marketing is where I've gotten all my winders (except for the Underwood single, which I bought in London). They are very good to deal with. I've also bought sets of poker chips from them.

No problem, John. All up, US$170.94:

$29.99 for the winder
$14.95 for the optional 220V adaptor
$126.00 for shipping by UPS Express (Canada to Australia).

Very cool. I'll have to look for them on 'the boy' to see what else they have and where in Canuckleheadland they're from.

That's a beauty, James....very practical too from the storage point of view!! Excellent price....funny how the shipping was more than four times that of the actual cost!

Actually, JJ's not far off from the truth there. Sash's birthday is coming up in September, and while she's not too keen on Rollies or Tudors (I've suggested a Lady Date and a Lady Sub), she does like a Hamilton Ventura. I'm just looking around for a good deal on one of those now.
