It would not take a great imagination to understand the desire to not wear it so as not to affect your swing. Sadly we have lot's of folks that like to turn everything into a peeing contest.

To be clear, I am not taking it off because I am babying it or afraid of what will happen to it. (On the contrary, taking it off scares me more because of my proclivity for leaving golf bags open or if someone tries to steal my TaylorMades and ends up with a nice bonus inside)

Swinging a golf club with a watch on is a challenge for me at best and tremendously distracting at worse.

Like many of you suggested, I greatly prefer to wear the damn thing - to the golf course, from the golf course, during drinks or dinner after, during breakfast before, and rather than putting it in my unlocked locker, I tend to keep it in my golf bag.

So with that in mind, I would love to hear what others who share my scenario would do.
