It would not take a great imagination to understand the desire to not wear it so as not to affect your swing. Sadly we have lot's of folks that like to turn everything into a peeing contest.

Swinging a golf club with a watch on is a challenge for me at best and tremendously distracting at worse.

Like many of you suggested, I greatly prefer to wear the damn thing - to the golf course, from the golf course, during drinks or dinner after, during breakfast before, and rather than putting it in my unlocked locker, I tend to keep it in my golf bag.

So with that in mind, I would love to hear what others who share my scenario would do.
