Those dents are annoying but I would leave it alone. To totally remove it, too much metal has to be removed unless you go with the more sophisticated micro welding which has to be done by an independent. RSC won’t weld it and grind to shape. They only polish.

No, there is a risk that the repair work might make it worse. I've seen some pretty shoddy 'repair' work before.

I’d leave it. Over the years, your watch will acquire nicks and scratches that will give it a wonderful patina that will be unique to your watch. I consider the nicks and scratches on my watches indicators that I’ve enjoyed wearing my watches. In fact, when I service my watches, I instruct them NOT to polish them. I don’t want to erase the history.
