POLL: HULK vs NEW SS PEPSI

What do you think is a better choice for a first rolex?

I’d take the new GMT over SubLV all day long and I own SubLV which I love.

I think I would lean SubLV but it would be a pretty close call.

The new GMT looks nice, but I can't get past the flawed design between the bracelet and lugs / watch case. The bracelet looks like it wasn't made for the new model. I can't remember to have seen such a poor design in any Rolex - ever. :(

Have no idea what happened in the design dept. this time.

New SS BLRO any day of the week. I do like the Hulk as well, but would not be my first choice.

What flaw? Can some one explain? Genuinely interested

I have the LVc but I think the BLRO is in a different league altogether! Can’t wait to get my hands on one...

Can you get the new Pepsi?

I love both watches but would probably go with the LVc in a limited collection.

It’s really personal though. If one sings louder than the other go with that one without hesitation. Both work great.

Very strange how people see things. The endlink design is by far the best iteration I've seen of the jubilee.
I happen to love this design so obviously disagree with your opinion.

BLRO of the two, though neither is my 1st choice.

I’d go with the BLRO as a first Rolex and add the LV later down the line

Agreed. It’s all preference and somewhat subjective but I would never see this as a design flaw. Ever

I’d go Pepsi for sure. Much more versatile.

That’s funny, I was thinking the LVc is more versatile. Indoors it barely looks green. I can see why you would think other wise though. I just feel the new Pepsi has much more flash than the LVc. And yes, I have seen it in person. Both of course

Agree on the Pepsi flash. Although I think it does add to the versatility when dressed up. I wore a hulk for a few years and loved it dearly. But it was my last choice when dressing up. I could see the Pepsi working well with just Ankit any attire.

But as we both know... you can’t go wrong with either

Pointless question. First Rolex? Sadly you have very little chance of a 116610LV or a 116710BLRO from an AD as your first Rolex unless you are a VIP.

The bracelet / endlink design on the first gen DBlue was similar for me, although it really didn’t bother me ... until they addressed it with the new one

I vote for the hulk

I think it would be cool for you to experience how solid the oyster bracelet feels.
