Active Scammer Warning - my experience
ebay ID "watch-glow" bought a vintage tritium handset from be on ebay then sent me back a completely different scam/switched cheap luminova set. I talked to ebay who told me that although he is maintaining a 100% positive feedback, he has a long history of doing this and routinely has negative feedback removed.
At any rate, he used the ebay handle "watch-glow" Of course I have his full name and address (which he used for this scam) available if anyone else has had a problem. Of course I have all the emails and photos to prove my case if needed. At any rate, ebay apparently is going to keep allowing this guy to continue. Ebay did of course give me my money back, but they also refunded his, encouraging him to continue this behavior. I have bought and sold well over $100K of high end watches for my personal collection over the past few years. I have always done so in good faith and all my transactions here and watchuseek are positive. I am posting this in order to hopefully prevent others in this community from having a bad experience with this seller because ebay doesn't have methods in place to protect sellers, and has become a very supportive place for these types of scammers. Of course I got my money back as well, but the point is he is still out there with no reason to stop. |
