New SD43. Thoughts on size?

Alright brain trust...I bought this two weeks ago when I was traveling on business and stopped into a local AD. Long story short I love the watch but didn’t have a lot of time to make a decision so I went ahead and bought it and had them ship to my office. I was on vacation all last week and it was sitting on my desk when I came back. I will ultimately make my own decision on this but as a data point for consideration please provide brutal honesty on how this fits my 6.75 in wrist. Thanks.

I think that one is as big as you can go. That being said, I also think that it fits just fine.
Congratulations!

Looks great. It’s big but not out of place on your wrist.

I think 43 is not so bad consider there are many watches bigger than that from Panarai

My wrist is the same size as yours. I learned (through trial and error) that even if the lugs don’t overlap the wrist, other factors such as height and weight of the watch can make for a poor fit. I’m not saying that it looks ridiculously big on you - because it doesn’t - but suggest you consider other aspects related to fitment and comfort when making your decision.

My wrists are about the same as yours and don't think it looks too big. In fact I think it looks great on you!

Looks great. I know exactly what you are going through. I bought and sold the Deepsea twice because I obsessed about how it looked.
Now I own it for the third time and love it. It's mostly in your mind.

It looks great on your wrist! I think you can totally pull it off. The sea dweller isn’t supposed to wear like the sub, it’s a beast of a watch and has commanding presence...it fits you perfectly

Perfect. The leather belt might be an inch too big.

As someone with the same size wrist, I'm almost wishing I didn't see these pics. I've always written off the SD 43 thinking it would look too big on me. I don't think you can go any bigger, but this looks like it works. I'm now tempted to trade my SubC date in for one of these if I can buy one...ugh.

For those familiar with both - how does the overall case thickness of the SD 43 compare with the SS SkyD? Thickness was the deal-breaker for me when I walked away on the opportunity to buy a white SkyD about 9 months ago...

I don’t have a comparison between the SD43 and the SD, but I do have a photo handy of the SD43 vs the Sub. I upgraded my sub to the sea dweller shortly after taking this photo.

My wrist is about the exact same size, and your pictures are making me consider adding one myself. I think the size looks great!

And with this post, one step closer to buying a third Rolex in less than 2 months. Fantastic look, weekend warrior or not.

It's a big watch but it can fit a lot of guys' wrists. Looks fine on you. Personally, I got over the size amongst other things but for the right type of person it is great watch.

I’d say slightly too large, but not excessively too large.

Personally I think it looks great. I have approximarely a 6.5” wrist. When I first got it I felt it was too big but it has grown on me. Especially once I got use to the extra weight. It’s a tough beast.
