Rolex in Rome

I'm off to Rome for a holiday shortly, are there any good AD's in the eternal city worth a look, or will I just be looking at Datejusts and nothing in SS like currently in the UK ?

Stock will be super thin. Rome is a very big city with tons of tourists to snap up anything desirable in the showcases, especially with VAT refunds. You can give it a shot but don't expect much.

Try the airport in Rome, I was there a week ago and there was some decent inventory. Plus there is the VAT return

I believe the Rolex ADs name is Hausmann on the Via Condotti near the Piazza D'Espagne and the Spanish steps. On the Piazza itself there is a Tudor AD, IWC Boutique and a Jaeger LeCoultre Boutique. There is also an Omega Boutique on the Via Condotti a few doors down from the Rolex AD. Great area if you are a WIS. If your lady is with you there is a Chanel,Cartier and Jimmy Choo just to name a few.

i was in Rome 10 days ago, and the AD did not have much,
one of the boutique is relocating/ reopening in a different location, so nothing to see there.
the other one Hausmann, is pretty small with not much inventory.
not a all lot but go and look, while you enjoy the nice food, and a beautiful city.

If you looking for sought after SS models, they will tell you politely they have none.
There is a lot more to see in Rome.

The best you would probably get are vintages i don't think there is too much to look out for around there.

I was just on a tour around Italy. The AD shops in Rome were closed during my visit (a holiday or something), but I visited ADs in Florence, Venice, Milan, Lake Maggiore area. All had minimal SS. The one on Intra (Lake Maggiore) had the new Rose Gold sub and I believe the older WG Pepsi. They had a few TT Daytona and a Stainess Submariner with date.

Come to think of it.
The last time i was in Italy, the dealer in Bolognia had a fairly reasonable selection if you're heading that way.
