How easy is it to remove the Oysterflex bracelet?

Hi all.

As the title reads, how easy is it to remove an Oysterflex bracelet? Say you wanted to swap the bracelet for a leather strap.

Can't find anything online or on YouTube.

Want to get an idea of how tight the rubber is to the lug, and if there is a good chance the lugs can get scratched if a non-professional is attempting the job.

Thanks.

from the looks of it, it looks to be easier than removing a bracelet which i have done. Haven't removed my OF strap though.

If you have a proper spring bar tool, it’s very easy. There is always, every time, a risk of scratching the lugs. There are those that will recommend tape on the lugs to help prevent that (I think it’s a good idea). With all due respect, if you are asking this that indicates you may not have the proper tool, and your risk of scratching goes way up.

A spring bar tool, or rather set of tools is not that expensive. Also, you may want to get a super el cheapo watch to practice on a couple of times.

In all fairness and full disclosure I have scratched a lug or two along the way. I mean, I’m not changing my screen name to LugKilla or anything, but it can happen.
