I'm going to very respectfully disagree with you.

No. One premium watch is better than 3 ordinary watches. The Tudors can be picked up for less than $3k used. They are good watches but will never be a Rolex.

Would rather have 1 BB58 than a BLNR. But wouldn’t get 3 just to gift unless you had a recipient or two in mind.

Maybe a 58, a Pepsi gmt and some cash??

An amazing piece. I know this is crazy talk, but I would rather have this than the BLNR. I really like what Tudor has been doing lately. Congrats on a very nice time piece

I think there's a few variables here:

• How attached are you to your BLNR? And if you sell it, would you buy it again later?

• Would a BB58 satisfy the need that the BLNR left behind?

• The BB58 gifts: are the gift BB58's for a major event? Could you only afford a gift of this quality by selling your BLNR?

If you are unsure about the first two points and could afford a quality gift w/o selling the BLNR, I say keep it for now. You can always sell it later when you're sure (your bank account will equalize then)

Some context behind this gesture may help with opinions from the group.

Honestly, I don't see why not. BLNR is a nice watch but Tudor provides superb value. It really is the bang for the buck. It's really up to you but I wouldn't do it unless the BLNR doesn't sing anymore.
