Honolulu watch shopping

I’m in Honolulu for 3 days can anyone suggest places for watch shopping? I’m staying in Waikiki and don’t have a car so I would like to be able to shop near my hotel.

All along the main strip in Waikiki you'll see watch shops, it's been a few years since I was last there but Rolex has a store on the main strip. You can also make the 15-20min walk over to the Ala Moana Mall, Rolex has a store in there too along with a bunch of other watch shops.

There’s a Tourneau, a Rolex boutique, and an Omega boutique on Kalakaua in Waikiki. There’s also a Cartier store that has watches. On Kuhio, there’s a small store called Japaha that has a pretty good selection of mid-priced Japanese watches.

If you can make it to the Ala Moana area, there’s a Ben Bridge watch store that has a good variety of luxury brands and also a stand alone Rolex store that’s also owned by Ben Bridge. If you make it over there, definitely check out Honolulu Time Co on Kapiolani, which has a good selection of used and vintage Rolex.

If it's anything like on Maui it'll be slim pickens.

Honolulu Time Co is worth getting up to, it's next to the Ala Moana mall. There are a bunch of watch stores in the Ala Moana mall, specifically two Ben Bridge (one dedicated to Rolex Datejusts, apparently...HA!) an Omega boutique, a Longines boutique, and a few others. The Ben Bridge there has a good selection of Grand Seiko and other brands.

I was just there in September and it was pretty devoid of any Rolex other than DJs.

I was in Baron & Leeds at Kaanapali Maui 2 weeks ago and there was a SS Submariner Date in the case. Dean told me it just came in that afternoon. I would have picked it up if I didn’t already have a 114060 (which I was wearing). I would not be surprised if it was sold that very evening, it definitely would have been sold within 24 hours.

I was just there last weekend, and went to both Ben Bridge stores in Ala Moana and the Baron & Leeds boutique at the International Market place.

It was mostly DJ’s, with some PM pieces. B&L had a nice YG DD 40, one of the BB stores had a RG DD 40 with green dial. I did see both YG sub and GMT. Multiple PM SkDs.

Zero SS of any interest.

Good luck.
