Thank you! I think it looks like I did the best I could with the GMT II 116713 purchase. Saving tax was a bonus after no discount on the MRP.

I was offered 15 % with AD in Bev Hills on 228239 WG in Oct 2018.

As of 11/8/18 the watch is on hold and I am going to purchase next week, but continue to negotiate my discount.

I had previously purchased a 2 tone GMT Master II from them, too.

I am going to push them toward 20 % since THEY told me its unheard of AD's to give north of 20 %, so I will try and use that verbiage against them and push for 20 %

Regarding sales tax, I am conveniently traveling to Las Vegas so I will ship to my hotel and save a bunch on taxes.

So the lowest real discount I will get will be 15 %, which I am fine with if that's the best I can do

this thread should only pertain to the current market. I doubt the 30% discounts were handed out recently. It really isn't helpful to anyone trying to gauge achievable discounts in this current market if you got 30% off in 2008

I agree, I think I did well by getting 25%off from an ad on a pm watch thay had to be ordered , in may of 2018
