What year is my watch? This is the clasp code
Hi all, I'm trying to date my vintage date just. Inside the clasp the code is 62510H, and to the right of this there is a capital D and a rolex crown. I'm hoping this can help somebody figure out the exact year of the watch. It was gifted to me by my father and he wore this watch every day for decades, so it is certainly special to me. He got it directly from rolex while on vacation in switzerland, but cannot rememberer the exact year of the trip. Thanks!

A D clasp code is ~1979. This only approximately dates the bracelet though, and will only be close if the bracelet is original to the watch.

The clasp code will tell you the bracelet year, for the watch you need to look at the serial.
I know watch and clasp should match, but...
