Hi from Australia

Hi All

Been lurking here for a while now as i try to talk myself out of getting a smurf but its not going well.

Already have a few tags and used to own a sub two tone. Finally I have decided to give in and just get the sub i should have years ago, the smurf, so with a little patience and good planning I shall procure one before the years end.

Love the forum, thanks for having me.

thanks guys, got lots of reading and research to do. Already badly tempted by some other models at a lower price point but i will remain strong and keep steady in my pursuit of my holy grail of time pieces.

Welcome to TRF! Plenty of Aussies on the forum.

Good choice. The 116619LB is a great watch. Nice heft with that amazing coloured dial and bezel. Very stealthy in the WG.

If you don't have luck with the ADs here in Australia, the trusted sellers on TRF have done plenty of deals shipping to Aussies. Unfortunately the exchange rate isn't that great at the moment...

thanks for the warm welcome.

Yes I noticed more than a few of us on the forums. The exchange rate is indeed terrible but not as bad as buying at local prices thus I submitted my first offer on a smurf today and I am in no hurry. They seem to sell for 20-25k here depending on the year and the sellers reason to sell them.

I think after I get my smurf the next logical piece to add will be a rolex daytona cosmograph in rose gold as it will pass as a semi dress watch with a leather strap fitted.
