How do you store your watch when not on wrist (daily use)

I got a sub last month and wear it daily. I take it off at night and just leave it in a drawer but I have been wondering should I keep it in a proper watch stand or something to keep it in good condition?

How do you store yours overnight during daily use?

I put it on my dogs paw so that it stays charged.

On the nightstand, next to the phone, both patiently waiting for the lab's tail . . . .

put it in airtight plastic bag and place inside freezer
In all seriousness I keep my watches inside the watch box.

I only take off a watch to sleep.
I make my wife sleep on her back. It sits safely between her breasts.
