Do Older straps fit on New Daytona C?

Hello All,

Longtime lurker here.

I have a question about the 116500.

Does anyone know if the alligator straps from a 116519 would fit in it?

end links are different on a bracelet and strap version of a daytona. If you put a strap on it you would have a big gap between the strap and case. I know you can get 3rd party straps on but no idea about a rolex one

TNG11 has OF on his SS daytona C and OF and new leather should both fit the same. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=610969

The new leather straps use the same clasp as OF where as the old ones didn't AFAIK so he would know if the strap also fits the bracelet clasp you already have.

pretty sure he didn't buy a PM clasp in WG to make it fit since all OF clasps are PM. If just shoot him a PM to confirm but there are a few other people with OF on SS Daytonas so it fits somehow. What i am saying though is you may need a current leather strap not an old one to make the set up work as they changed it.

Anybody know where I can source one? My local ADs are giving me nonsense about not putting the strap in a 116500
