O'Bama's watch

My wife picked this watch out for me for Christmas. Turns out that one of her students father is an agent with the U.S. Secret Service. The Secret Service agents assigned to Barack Obama during his campaign gave him the identical watch for his birthday. It's a nice addition to my (small) collection.

Many have inquired about this watch. Cool to have an example in your collection.

The movement is Japanese, either Seiko or Citizen, but most likely Seiko. The watch itself is made in China.

Very cool!
I am envious :) Thats a fun piece to own.

I saw O wearing his on the cover of some magazine...
I picked up the magazine just because I was curious
what watch he was wearing. Saw the watch and that
was all I cared about there...

It's not a Seiko movement. Most likely a Miyota.
