My sentiments exactly. However, I'm always open to hearing other people's opinion and take everything into consideration. If they do come out with an advertised DJ38, I think it will sell better than the DJ41. Like many say, this is a dressier watch. I'm looking at getting a DJ with Oyster Bracelet, Domed, Blue Dial, and Roman Numerals.

A 38-39mm DJ is the perfect watch imo.

Rolex kind of went off the rail with the case size and thickness in the last decade. I started to appreciate 5 digit references more and more.
DJ2 was a flop.....Rolex does't often discontinue/upgrade a model so fast.
DJ41 is better but what we need is a 38-39mm DJ.

I hope they would listen. Also, give us an option to have non-polished centre links oyster on sport models.
Good to see other people feel the same

My 40mm Sub looks massive next to my 41mm DJ41. It wears much smaller than it’s name suggests.

That's because it's just under 40 mm despite the 41 in its name. This thread is like a circle of loops, lol.

I realize this. I am trying to give the OP some size perspective he said he’s never tried on a DJ41

Understood, but you gave an incorrect case size for the DJ41. It's not 41mm as you stared; it's sub 40mm

The new Datejust 41 is in reality 39.xx mm. It sounds like what you are looking for.

I saw someone on Youtube measuring a DJ 41 with calipers and it was 41.5.

Not saying you're wrong. I just don't know what to believe.

I'd go larger because I just don't care for smaller watches. That said, the DJ wears larger than its size.

It was probably a DJll. The DJ 41 is definitely 39.5mm. I have posted multiple pictures on this thread to show the size differences between the DJ36,DJll, and DJ41.

Agreed, I thought it was common knowledge around these parts that the DJ 41 is actually 40 mm

There have been plenty of pictures posted supporting this
