I'm sure there is a logic at Rolex. Trying to guess what it is used to be half the fun. It's most of the fun now, because the watches may as well not exist.

In any case im positive it was the same watch just with a different dial i had tried on before.

here it is in the background... the dial is blue

my understanding is it is discontinued.... the blue dial was to make it different from the ss version while they were selling existing stock. New ones ready to ship from Rolex shipped with a blue dial and AD's had the option to change watches they had in inventory to blue dials as well. Existing owners also had that option too

Very cool, love it!!!!

Yes, I had the new Pepsi, Not trying to start a fight but I did not like the bracelet. Plus I preferred the weight of the white gold. The blue dial put it over-the-top I love it

Interesting. This is the first time I have heard its coming back with the new movement. Given its a terrible seller, wonder what the business decision is behind it?

It’s very beautiful. The only GMT I would consider buying.

Is it a terrible seller? I think it’s a improvement over the black dial. People want exclusivity. It sets it apart from the Stainless steel model. I hope it comes back with a new movement.

I think the oyster band and blue dial is the best look. Plus I like the weight of white gold. I really dislike the band on the stainless GMT model

In the US at least it is widely known the have sat in AD's cases unsold for years. I know of at least 4 major AD's who sold either 1 or zero in the 4 years it was out. In contrast they each sold multiple copies of the wg sub during the same period. I know that's a small sample size so take it for what it is. One of these ADs is a large multi store chain and one of their branches had the same wg gmt sitting unsold in the case for over 3 years.
