JLC Timepiece registration

Has anyone registered their JLC online? The QR code on the “Official Timepiece Registration” card took me to a ‘My Jaeger-LeCoultre” site prompting me to create an account, which I did. I then added my watch to the ‘virtual watch box’, which involves submitting the serial number and uploading proof of purchase...is that it? I’m a bit confused, because nowhere on the website does it mention that I’m ‘registering’ the watch.

Hoping they send a cleaning cloth or something for the effort

I briefly owned a Polaris 42mm and could never register it.

I have registered my 2 JLCs, the last one about a year and a half ago. I believe you did it correctly. Just login in to "MyJLC" on their web site, go to "my virtual safe", and if your watch is there you should be OK.

Yeah, "my virtual safe", not "virtual watch box". Looks like I'm all set then, but how confusing for them not to use the term "registration" anywhere online.
