New member, long time owner

Hi, just joined the forum. I live in Spokane WA after spending many years in Seattle. My one Rolex is a 16613 Submariner that is original to me. I owned a black GMT for a few years back in the early 2000's, wish I still had it :-)

I have not worn the Sub for a long time because of the work I do, it would stand out too much.

I've had a running debate in my head regarding selling it vs. just getting another one to wear daily. I'm debating between another GMT or an Explorer II. Given that it is original to me I think I will end up keeping it and pass it to my son eventually.

In my not so available spare time I tinker with old sports cars and motorcycles. Mostly Porsche and an old BMW /2. I'm hoping to get back to vintage racing this year after taking a few years off.

Thank you for the space to learn and explore. Cheers, Jerry

One of my favourite watches and a strong contender for my 50th Birthday watch in a couple of years time.

Nice story and i would keep it to pass on to your son in years to come.

Good luck with the racing
