Day Date 40 link has ceramic insert
I was surprised to see that the Day Date 40 has a ceramic insert that can slide out. Almost lost it when removing a link! AD salesman mentioned that Rolex is using this ceramic insert to help prevent the stretch that bracelets have developed in the past.

Tudor uses this cream colored ceramic for the ball detents in the Pelagos clasp. |

Yes. Started with the platinum DD2, then platinum Daytona, then all DD40. We'll see how much it really helps in 5 or 10 years.
