Opinion on 16750 Pepsi

16750 Pepsi..need opinions...
7.2 mill...from my research I think the dial is a service and the hands are service.

It is most likely a service dial. So what, it is an attractive watch. Send it to Rolliworks in San Francisco and have the bracelet serviced. Enjoy.

Where did you come up with "service dial?"

The dial is the first generation glossy dial, very difficult to find, and referred to as a "no date" dial due to the absence of the word DATE after OYSTER PERPETUAL. (The next generation of GMT 16750 dials and all subsequent GMT 16700 and GMT II 16710 dials read OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE.) Personally, I've seen these "no date" dials as early as 8.2XXXXX.

For those that aren't familiar with these early 1980s glossy dials, they were very prone to corrosion, especially around the makers, and/or severe cracking of the glossy finish.

I would have expected a matte dial without WG surrounds for a 7.2M serial. Are you absolutely sure about the serial?

Yes...actually 735xxxx..I removed the bracelet...to check it..and model 16750

I am the original owner of 16750 I purchased on January 11, 1982. In 2002, when I took the watch in for service, the RSC replaced the hands, dial and bezel. I was told by the person at the RSC that they only had newer parts. The matte dial was replaced with a glossy dial. I assumed an early 16750 had matte dial replaced with an RSC glossy one. Thanks for you information.
