I PREFER the brushed finish, but think the PCL's look fine on the DJ, Daytona and Yachtmaster. Unacceptable for the Submariner Explorers and GMT's though.

Agree. The jubilee manages to conceal the scratches exceptionally well.

I don't mind them at all. They look great on the SS Daytona. I don't how they look on the GMT-C and hopefully they don't use them on the new SS Sub.

I don't like the polished center links at all. I don't see the benefit.

Brushed gold or SS is just as attractive and with the brushed you don't have to deal or look at the scratches nearly as often.

I voted "yes" but my vote probably doesn't count as much, because I'm a woman who wears a woman's watch (Yachtmaster). I like the look of the PCL although they are a huge scratch magnet. I'm not sure I'd like the PCL on a Submariner, for instance.

I generally prefer the brushed bracelets. However, on some watches, I don't think that would "work", so it really depends. I do agree they show scratches more, but you know when it's time for service, they will be good as new (till the next time...)

If the centre links on this baby weren't polished, this watch would look ridiculous!!

I always love this discussion, so I can pull off my GMT II C. Coming up on 18 months 24/7 wear. The scratches are so numerous they are turning into a nice patina.

That's crazy! From that picture it appears the brushed sections are polished and the polished section is brushed. 24/7 wear indeed. Nice...that's what I like to see...a watch being used as it was intended and not treated like a fabriche egg.

Nice patina. Nothing wrong with that at all.
