For the Datejust lovers...state of my collection!
Dear TRFers,
In order not to have the millionth thread about availability of SS models at ADs, I would like to share the part of my watch collection, that only consists of the Datejust models of Rolex. There is a Day Date 18038 missing, which is currently making a Spa visit... I hope you enjoy the collection! The upper row are mine, the lower row are my wife’s watches. I focused on the 5-digit DJs from the 80ies with plexi whereas my wife needs to have sapphire. Also, one can clearly see, that I am a huge fan of the tapestry dials of that era. BR Torsten |

Nice collection, it is nice to see more than just sports models. I am also a fan of the datejust more than the sports watches.

I'm very impressed. After chasing a Sub for years, I finally picked a used one up a few years ago. A short time later, I swapped it for a brand new 6 digit DJ 36, and never looked back. I hope to add more Rolexes to the collection eventually, and I imagine they will all be DJ 36 variants. I love mine, and your collection is awesome.

Lovely collection!
So, what do you think of the modern iterations - both the DJ41 and the new Basel 19 DJ36? Are you going to add these to the lineup?! |
