Omega Speedmaster Reduced Bracelet Link
Hello Omega Fans,
I recently purchased an Omega Speedmaster Reduced (ref. 3510.50) from a TRF member. I'm very happy with the watch! I love the smaller size, which works very well for me in the office, under a cuff. I also own a Speedmaster Pro (ref 3572.50 Hesalite / Sapphire sandy), which I find to be a little large for wear with a suit or business attire. I love the Pro for the weekends, Reduced for the office. Give that a whirl!!! Anyway, to my dilemma, the Reduced came on the original bracelet (ref 1469 w/ 811 end links), and on the largest possible clasp setting, the watch is juuust a bit too tight. I'd love to add an additional link. I stopped by my local Omega AD, and they told me they inquired directly to Omega, with no luck. This is a late 1990s model, I believe, so I guess it's conceivable that Omega no longer has the parts available. I plan on wearing the Reduced on an 18mm black leather alligator strap most of the time (which is on order from Hirsch), but I'd love to have the bracelet as an option as well. Have any members been able to source a link for a 1469 bracelet? I've looked on EBAY, but single links seem hard to find and priced at unattractive levels (~$100 for a single link... come on). Any insight would be very much appreciated!!! Cheers. |
