There is nothing wrong with a Sub XL as larger guys wanted a 42mm dive watch. The TT SD43 just gives them more options. Gold doesn't take away any of its toughness. Gold is actually more inert than SS. This forum walks around with SS blinders on. If Rolex really knows what they are doing, then they also have confirmed that TT watches are the future and on the rise. You dont have to read the tea leaves too close to know the SS fashion wasnt gonna last forever. Economy is good and the use of more PM is showing it.
