Poll: Oyster or Jubilee on Datejust 41 Blue?
I know this has been asked before, but I am asking again. I have the opportunity to acquire a Jubilee bracelet for my new Datejust 41 Blue which is currently "sporting" (heh!) an Oyster PCL band.
I am 60 years old with an 8-inch wrist. Live in the Southwest but travel everywhere. Mostly have casual business interactions. Let's vote - I'd like some others insight and inclinations - thank you! Ben |

You should setup a poll. That said, fluted and jubilee is quintessential DJ in my humble opinion.

Jubilee...and the added benefit is you won’t worry about scratching the PCL’s.

Rolex is letting (for once) people buy another type of bracelet for the same watch (this is allowed by rolex because the DJ comes in both combinations). I would not hesitate in getting the two options, before rolex changes their mind. Bracelet is pricey, but it makes it another watch entirely so totally worth it! Go for it!

Jubilee takes it for me on a DJ. Timeless & classic looks, not to mention vary comfortable.

I like to have both - for options.
I always gravitate towards the oyster bracelet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To me, the jubilee is more "DJ" but I think you should leave the oyster as is

I have the blue dial with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. I purchased it in Dec 2018 and it was my first Rolex. The client advisor at the time recommended it being it was more sporty and more in line with my age/lifestyle. Deep down, I should've gotten the fluted with jubilee instead of trying to buy another one now lol.
You can buy another bracelet for your DJ41, but you cannot swap bezels as it is a different reference number entirely. |

You have a lovely DJ, awesome watch. I like mine dj41 with silver dial on oyster.
It always apples are sweeter in neighbors garden....just listen to your heart. I would enjoy the current combination, moreover you are more casual in terms of appearance. |

Imho:
The datejust is a dressier watch and deserves the dressier Jubilee bracelet.
I just swapped my BLRO's Jubilee for an Oyster because I feel the GMT II is a sport model and deserves a more rugged looking Oyster Dante ![]()

Jubilee is awesome on the 41! It feels like more of a fit then on any sports model. Granted I love the jubilee on BLRO, I do not like it at all on BLNR (admittedly I am not a fan of BLNR in any form). I’d go for jubilee on 41 and though they are not on my wish list, I’d happily own a 41 flutted jubilee in any color and material! |
