16700 Pepsi Advice

Hi TRF,
I recently purchased a 16700, and just noticed smudge-like residue on the rehaut. Is this a big nono (return?) or should I just have the store clean it off?

Thanks!!

I would return to the store and have them clean that off. It visually detracts from the watch and it's never a good thing to have foreign matter under the crystal.

Two minor issues that are easily fixable.

If you like the watch and assuming there's nothing else wrong, I'd keep it and try to get the seller to knock off some money. Ask for a $1K discount, which would more than cover getting a new crystal and lightly cleaning the rehaut.

That's one of the problems with a description "Like New." It's vague and can mean different things to different people. Who was the seller?

That’s not like new. It has 3 issues:
-chips on crystal
-smudge on rehaut
-quite polished
