Update: I just bought a DJ Wimbledon dial. sales rep took off the stickers but put the white hang tag and green tag in the box. Weird. Guess depends on where you go and who you deal with.

I was planning to make myself a bracelet from white tag, green tag and bezel protector and wear it while the watch stayed in a bank safe for someone else to enjoy it after I'm dead.
They didn't gave me the white tag, so now I'm forced to wear the watch.

Have to agree just cannot see why all the fuss over a useless bit of plastic, seems today that bits of plastic are more important than the watch

I don’t get these weird things happening now. Before when you bought a Rolex the tags came with the watch. So did the warranty card and box. No withholding anything. That’s why people want these things today. Of course there are the guys who think they are cooler than other guys and say they could care less about it. But in reality, people just want the full experience of buying a Rolex.

Totally agree mate. Just Because someone would like to get the hang tags etc with their watch, which is completely their prerogative, some people suddenly start saying nonsense like ‘Seems the plastic is now more important than the watch’

Show me someone who ever said they felt the plastic bits were more important

Poor form and poor show from people who should know better but clearly just have a bad attitude

I paid 25K for a plastic white barcoded hang tag, and all I got was this useless YG blue dialed Submariner! Blasphemy.

You either care about having the full set or you don't, simple as that. Opinions on what a full set is vary, but to me the hang tag with the watch's serial number is an essential part of the full set, much more so than generic items like booklets and boxes that can easily be replaced.

And to ADs who say they need it for inventory, buy a computer, or write the numbers down on a piece of paper, for crying out loud.

I purchesed a Datejust 126200 on the 28th of July 2019 and recieved the box sleeve, rolex box, watch, green hang tag, white hang tag, and sales receipt. This Friday I got the call my warranty card was in. I picked up the card, and datejust booklet. When I got home I also recieved via mail a hand written letter and price evaluation for insurance from my AD. Colorado USA.
