That's art in the form of tiny metal sculptures put together. It's interesting how HH manual wind chronos are perhaps the threshold, for me, of the transition from "marvels of engineering" to a "work of art".

Very nice pics mate Interesting to see what happens next year after seeing a post with 3 new 5370 potentially happening (rg,wg and a blue dial platinum). They dont appear to be enamel dials and have normal hour indices instead of breguet numerals so i think this og 5370p is still the best

Insider info or web speculation? Can’t see it all personally.

I wouldn't particularly choose between them, similar in so many ways and yet also there are so many clear differences:

CHR 29-535 PS - the Patek is possibly slightly finer and this can be seen in the thinness of parts - movement 29.6mm x 7.1mm - case 41mm x 13.56mm

L951.7 - the Lange uses blued screws and german silver which adds an extra degree of colour - movement 30.6mm x 8.1mm - case 41mm x 13.4mm

As you can see the two pieces are very similar in size, although of course the Patek is a Rattrapante as opposed to simply adding the large feature date of the Lange.
I understand, that's like choosing between your children.

I like both as well. Thanks for posting these pics!

I was also told that 5370P-001 would be discontinued and a different dial and/or metal combination would be launched.

I am hoping that they would launch a 5370P with the blue enamel dial of 5539G

Yes, it was mentioned to me that a different metal was coming (possibly even last Basel but clearly that didn't happen) - I was just doubting the 3 at once approach!

Awesome shots! Such ashamed A Lange Sohne aren’t as prides as Patek. IMO, the movement is even more fascinating!

Great shots. What ever happened to the macro camera? I’d love to see high res pics.
