Is 3 Daytonas Too Many???

I have the opportunity to get a 116519LN at the AD this week.

I currently have the 116500 White and 116508 Green.
All three are very different from YG bracelet and bezel/green dial, SS bracelet Cerachorm bezel/White and the 116519 would be OF, WG Case and Silver dial.

I really just love the Daytona look and honestly with multiple watches I like the no date and easy time set... (yes I am lazy).
Plus I have small wrist like 6-3/8" so it fits me perfect.

I also have CHNR, Batman 2.0 and AP Diver.

I have been up and down the Rolex, AP and Patek lineup and either watches I like are too big (AP) or unreasonably expensive (Patek). Or in the case of Rolex, I have already owned a bunch (like literally even single submariner for example and Hulk twice..lol... but waiting for Basel 2020, maybe new Submariner next year...
Right now Daytonas and GMTs are on fire w/ Rolex as both refreshed past 4 years and currently my favorite Aesthetic.

The reason I have had so many rolexes is I LOVE the Rolex aesthetic, reliability, durability and sportiness which still has it tops for me. Not to mention the fit is perfect for my small wrists AND I LOVE microadjustments as my wrists MORPH.

Here is my current 2019 Collection (I update yearly ).

I think the WG Daytona on OF would fit in perfectly with your collection! To me, that AP looks a little out of place.

Yes the AP is a little out of place... Bordering on a tad too big for my wrist, but I do love it as a beach watch (I live on Siesta Key).
The AP is becoming my beater as I wear to the beach and gym...

I've played with that model Daytona at a GTG and it was super cool/nice. Would, most likely, be different enough for you from the others
I vote to go for it

Three different colors serve three different purposes
I would go for it!

I don't have 2 other Daytonas, but I did just pick up the 116519LN and couldn't be happier!

There are 3 very different types of Daytonas
1) Metal Bracelet and Metal Bezel , including SS, TT and PM
2) All Metal Bracelet with Cerachrom Bezel (SS, Platona)
3) OF Bracelet w/ Cerachrom Bezel (all PM)... Also there is a leather strap option that fits in this category IMO...

So each of these 3 Daytonas (assuming I get the 116519LN) falls into a different type of Daytona.

Not many watches have this kind of variety!

Thanks for sharing, I love hearing from owners.
I did have a OF RG Daytona 2 years ago, but I like the WG aesthetic the best of all of them, as does the consensus on TRF.

Seems like you have a particular style and the Daytona fits. So no, you can't have too many Daytonas. Go for it! Question becomes do you really need the other watches in the collection?

Adding the Oysterflex Steel Dial no matter how many Daytonas you have is definitely more than "ok."

Who am I to say no. You have some real nice pieces and the 519 w/ OF will be a great addition no doubt.

If PP is ruled out, altho prices are falling so keep an eye on them, then the OF is fine piece.

The 519LN would fit very nicely within your collection! (As is a hard piece to obtain along with those two beauties)

I am currently waiting on mine and I too, will have three Daytonas hopefully!

If you want to try it out, there is little financial risk since this piece is in demand. I just sold mine yesterday. I enjoyed it but I wasn’t in love with it. The dial is really nice but in the end, I am not an OF fan. Great collection, BTW
