These damn teasers don't give any great insight at all.....they just are what they say "teasers".

Maybe they're not chrono pushers at all. But pushers (or crowns as someone pointed out) for moonphase or perpetual calendar settings? Celini goes ceramic bezel and complications

Having fun yet?

With the ceramic push, I think Exp II... but not with those bezel tick marks. it historically wouldn't match any of the GMT lineup...

Actually the old Explorer II 1655 had tick marks, although not in the same locations on the bezel as the teaser pic. The bezel markers on the teaser match the Sub and SD 100%. But who knows.

Bezel marking and protruded glass looks like a Sea Dweller.....but I think more people (including me) prefer a SD without cyclops....bad move!!!

New SD and if the other one is a Daytona with a date, I have a year to clean out the dog house because I'm next on the list for the white 116500.

Rolex Full Ceramic Cases for Basel 2017

My guess: both white & black teaser videos point to new full ceramic cases for Rolex Baselworld 2017.

Rationale: Rolex already has the capabilities and testing completed via Tudor with full ceramic cases currently offered on the Tudor Fastrider Blackshield. The competition have full ceramic models in their line up: Omega with the Deep Black and Dark/Grey/White Side of the Moon, IWC on their Top Gun & Miramar Pilot models, & TAG Heuer on the Heuer01.

Can't see Rolex making all-ceramic. Have you seen what can happen if you drop an all-ceramic watch?

Rolex doesn't have competition.

Of course they could if they wanted But I don't see them going full ceramic, I believe it would be too great a departure from tradition for the slow to change company.

Woul also like to see a titanium tool watch. Was hoping Coke would come out in this specie.

Would also like to see more light colored/white dials. All my tool watches have black dials.

Rolex claims 904L steel is lighter in color/shinier than 316L steel and is easier to polish. I'm not saying it's impossible but as a company who likes to embrace tradition, using a greyish and matte finish looking material doesn't quite suit their taste and titanium is difficult if not impossible to polish.
Personally, I like Pelago too. But wouldn't bet on when Rolex will start to use 100% titanium on any of its watch.

OK, how about this. I kept hearing rumors about a ceramic bezel on the Explorer II but thought it would be too close to the GMT to make sense. Now, Looking at the idea of the "luminous material embedded in a ceramic bezel" They could put a ceramic bezel on the EXII with luminous material in it and have that second time zone thing on the first patent. It would also explain why the cyclops looks soooo big in the teaser. This would be in line with what the original EXII was designed for, reading the 24hr time in caves where there is no light.

So, in a nutshell, here is my vote:
Ceramic bezel Explorer II with luminous material embedded in the bezel.

I want a cookie if this one actually turns out to be true.
