My Top 5 and 2 that were nipping' at the heels! (could change as Im gonna open two more, still got a few hours)!

The Arrogant Bastard was a definite shocker, especially from a brewery!

Ok my list, in no particular order and included for different reasons….

Michters 10yr Rye - thank you TRF for the suggestion on this. It’s incredibly layered and complex with an insanely long and syrupy finish, and definitely tastes closer to bourbon than some of the bolder ryes. Just beautiful.

Blue Run 14yr bourbon - it just does everything right. Not the most unique, but really can’t find a reason to fault it. It’s just a perfect example of a classic bourbon.

Weller 12 - at MSRP, it has got to be the best value in bourbon. Light and smooth. Finding it at MSRP is a different story.

Stagg Jr Batch 14 - what a beast. The cherry notes here are insane and after letting the bottle open up a bit it’s not as hot as it’s proof would suggest.

Two Brewers Batch 28 - this is from the Yukon, Canada, funny enough also started as a beer brewery. But man it’s good juice. It’s finished in Sherry barrels, and honestly gives High West MWND a run for it’s money in terms of a finished Whisky.

Didnt pop the Coy yet, but every review Ive seen has been good... Its all over the 'net, just at inflated prices.. Costco had it for $51 last month, I missed it!
