has anyone developed a quartz movement for a Rolex perpetual watch. I have a Rolex oyster perpetual that stops every 40 hours without winding. Besides and automatic winder, I thought this was perpetual motion. Am I wrong?

Can't remember if I posted on this thread. Retired U.S. Army, retired Government employee, and now spend my days managing our stock portfolio and visiting TRF, investing sites, and some knife-collecting sites, among others.

Have owned a Rolex since 1974 (TT DJ) and periodically some Cartiers. Now down to the Hulk, but on the look-out for the next big thing (YG and Blue Sub or some kind of Daytona).
