Make sense? You can see it yourself, and in fact I just verified that it works on the hour and minute hands as well: simply charge up the lume with a good flashlight, go into a very dark room, tilt it sideways, and you can see, reflecting off of the dial right below the hands, the lume of the hands. So either they're coated top and bottom, or the surface on which they're deposited is transparent enough for the lume to show through, but it's definitely visible: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/omeg...on-417308.html

Actually you can see it on Fr. John's excellent photos in this review: the white coating on the diamond-shaped portion of the second hand is clearly visible on the reflection off of the dial in the 3rd and 4th picture, and you can see a bit of the reflection of the lume on the bottom of the second hand in the 6th picture, just below and to the left of the second hand.

I tried to get photos of it on my POS PAS (POS Point and Shoot :) ), but it's not up to the task, unfortunately.

Impro, must be my eyesight in my older age.... Don't see it as clear as that, what gets more of your time these days, the CR PO or LM?

It's easier to spot in a very dark room. Very visible, but helps to charge lume up fully w/flashlight and view from 45 degree angle or more.

Watch-wise, LM much more so than CR (I'm actually considering putting the CR on the block at this point), though the Glashutte is probably at the top o' the heap right now in terms of wear:

there's something about that colour combo, black/red that I like, but only in lineage, not numerals

Yeah, I agree, it's a cool combo so long as it's not too over-the-top, that's one thing that really caught my eye about that piece. It's really Jocke's fault, his excellent pics of his GO Sport Evo are what piqued my interest in their sports lineup in the first place, fortunately this one popped up on the grid at an opportune time!

Forgot to mention that the numerals are far smaller in person than in a hugely oversized photo, and are thus much more subtle when viewed on the wrist.

Joined today and am simply not leaving. What a great watch and my grail. I have always love PO's, the 14060 and tried others. Flipping watches I know quickly if it will be gone. Those I really like will stay longer, but they leave.

This first impression is this is just perfect. The 2500 is nice, 8500 beautiful this one is special. Under the radar but you know you are wearing something special. That only another 1,947 are wearing.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359600292.270691.jpg

Sadly I'm leaving this club. Couldn't justify both liquid metal and skyfall aqua terra blue. The aqua terra won because of its elegance. Liquid metal now on eBay :(

Say what?? That photo is taken directly from the following For Sale ad on WUS, which was posted May 25th, 2010 (the watch was sold June 2nd 2010):
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-omega-liquid-metal-planet-ocean-limited-edition-seamaster-new-unworn-404428.html

Here's a direct link to that image; shadows, time, everything is identical:

You posted here in July 2012 that you'd just gotten yours from a dealer in Germany (seller above resides in VA, USA):

Just seen one sell on eBay for £4500, or 7000 dollars.. Incredible
The manager of my local omega boutique in London told me that the liquid metal ltd edition will become one of the most collectable omegas in his opinion
If this is the case, why are you posting someone else's pics from 2010??

I didn't mean to sound too abrupt but this is the original LE PO LM thread. Lovely as the new LM is (and I'm thinking of getting a titanium one) this isn't the right thread.

Edit: I was asking Andrew to post EBay listing as I was unable to find it, but someone quickly PM'd me the listing, and once I saw it I figured out why: I was searching for "planet ocean liquidmetal", while the listing is simply titled "Omega liquid metal limited-edition" (no Planet Ocean) on the EBay UK site, and thus does not show up in search results if you search for "planet ocean".

Listing is under same name, so andrewc is, at least until he sells it, definitely a member of the club!

Sorry Andrew, but we've had a few poseurs in this section and you raised a red flag posting that other guy's pic...looks like it was an honest mistake, enjoy it while you've still got it. Also I would recommend you change your listing to include Planet Ocean, will make it easier for potential buyers to find it!
