Guys, I was shocked at what happened to me today!

In some of my previous posts i've mentioned that i was a 24/7 wearer and swimming, surfing and actively using my watch.
Well, today my watch fell off my wrist! fell right off! Fortunately i was sitting in a cafe doing nothing and it fell off onto my lap! What! surprised i just took a look and the strap had broken, looked on the floor and the pin was there. I was 2 minutes away from my AD, so went straight there and had the pin put back in. The dealer put some glue into it and said that the pins can work loose especially if you wear your watch loose.
Considering it could have happened whilst walking or doing something and would easily have been lost, all in all a very lucky day!

Planning on arriving at about 3pm at the Dickens, see you there

By the way. As well as the GTG it's the Lord Mayors Show in the City on Saturday. So parts of the City from Bank to St Pauls will be closed to traffic.
Also it's Salon QP at the Saatchi Gallery if you want to check out other watch brands before we meet.
Looking forward to meeting some of you for the first time and seeing others again, even Dan.

I did a quick google & the Saatchi gallery is only a coupla miles from Hyde Park?





Bit vague I know but just "throwing it out there" really......

In one way I kind of think "The Arcade'll be there any time" (although I did read somewhere that it might actually not be?!) & it seems a shame to be in town on the weekend of the exhibition & not go there.....

but in another way I think "why change plans now??"






Anyone's thoughts appreciated....??

I am happy to go with the flow. I am not buying on saturday so the QP would be an opportunity.
BTW I have a a couple of years of QP editions from a few years back. If anyone wants them let me know. It would be a waste to put them in the bin.

Mate I swear if I accumulate any more old magazines in my study Kerry'll cut my wotsits off!!

I'm certainly not buying either so thought QP (then One Hyde Park) could be cool??

We'll see what the others say as the day progresses but in the interim I think I might be able to blag a free ticket or two "just in case"......

The QP and the One HP sounds good. I go pretty frequently to the Arcade so the other two would be my preference. But happy to go with the flow. Probably QP first and then One HP then a few snifters at The Dickens
